Shahd Hakim Year 9

Shahd has made a phenomenal contribution this year. She is an active member of the Equality Group and has been involved in whole school campaigns helping to challenge prejudice and celebrate diversity. She has spoken in assemblies, to tutor groups and even to staff. Shahd has also made huge progress in developing her literacy and this has led to a real growth in confidence. Shahd is an extremely deserving winner of a Jack Petchey award!


Faisal Sattari Year 10

Faisal is a member of the year group and has pushed himself to achieve both in and outside of the classroom. He has been involved in a range of extra-curricular activities, including the Debating Society and he recently visited and spoke at The House of Lords. Faisal is a student who shows great commitment to his studies and always goes above and beyond to ensure that he achieves his best. He worked on the PiXL Maths App and completed every single question correctly. A truly phenomenal achievement! Faisal is a student who definitely demonstrates that hard work pays off.


Diego Nicolau Gomez Year 8

Diego has worked really hard to improve his behaviour this year. Not only is he more focused and studious during lessons, his reading has also improved and has become a mature young man. School life can be a challenge for Diego and his resilience and hard work has meant that his learning experience continues to improve. He has demonstrated a huge amount of courage and focus in pushing himself to improve his literacy and overall learning. Well done Diego!
